Read Capabilities for Talent Development by Galagan et. al. It's a short read and aligns with the Association of Talent Development's release of the new "Talent Development Capability Model".
Review the components of the new model and reflect on the following questions.
a) Why did ATD adjust the word "competency" to "capability" in the new model?
b) What areas in the model are most appealing to you?
c) Select one component in each of the 3 capabilities (personal, professional, and organizational) of the model that you feel is the most important to you, your work, and your organization. Explain your selection.
The response should include a reference list. Using double-space, Times New Roman 12 pnt font, one-inch margins, and APA style of writing and citations.
