This discussion post on what constitutes a strong literature review should focus on a reflective perspective regarding a self-analysis through a strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT) analysis surrounding the compilation of the literature review. A candid and frank self-evaluation should yield some interesting perspectives and aid in future growth in this vital area.
Focus on the following:
1) What are your views on a strong literature review?
2) Conduct a SWOT analysis on annotated bibliography to date.
3) Develop a specific strategy for developing a total of at least 100 relevant literature sources that will be included in your literature review.
Discuss how you will convert your annotated bibliography and the work you have done so far into a full blown literature review. Know that you must have a draft of your literature review in place by the end of RES862. RES862 is usually taken in the 8th quarter of the program. It is imperative that you're prepared for the third year of the program with a clear research topic and nearly completed (90%+) literature review.
The response must include a reference list. One-inch margins, double-space, Using Times New Roman 12 pnt font and APA style of writing and citations.
