Assignment task: Hazard Analysis
Let's go back to your local airport. Examine the legal responsibilities of the airport, local community, and federal government as they involve aircraft emergency response. Use the tools available from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and your local airport to complete the following:
- First, consider your hazard analysis. What are your top priority hazards and why?
- How will you address these in your planning and mitigation strategies?
- Next, think about your functional annexes. What do you perceive to be your most significant challenges with these and why?
- How might you overcome deficiencies and determine legal responsibilities with your stakeholders, resources, etc., in these areas of concern?
