Problem: Why might companies use electronic monitoring of employees (communications, time on task, keystrokes, location, listening in to conversations, recording interactions with audio and video, etc.)? Be sure to consider the supplemental resources in forming and supporting your response. Should employees have some expectation of privacy in any of these areas? Think in terms of your own organization or another you know well. Where should the electronic monitoring line is drawn? Are the rules different for customers? For citizens?
