Problem
I. In Kafka's "Couriers", he talks about children being presented with the choice of becoming a courier or a king. The book says that all the children choose to become couriers, so that there will no longer be any kings.
If you had the choice of courier or king, what would you pick and why? What are some things that influence the choice you made, like your background, home life, etc.?
II. Kafka seems to understand the struggle for life, and that we all face these trials of life. My question is, do we all face the same trials but in different ways? Or is it because of our background that we get an advantage or disadvantage in these trials of life and if we do what constitutes as an advantage or disadvantage?
