Case Analysis: Case: Play it Safe at Home, or Take a Risk Abroad?
Analysis Outline: You should answer the below questions. To do this, follow the sections described below (make sure your report is clearly divided into each section and all sections are labeled):
• Section 1: What are the risks of expanding into Mexico? Make sure you identify at least two risks and that your answer includes at least one course concept. Clearly underline the course concept you're using.
• Section 2: Should Coe's expand internationally? Is Mexico the best place for expansion? Make sure your answer includes at least two course concepts different from the concept you used in Section 1. Clearly underline the course concepts you're using.
• Section 3: Do you expect Coe's to have to adapt its successful model in another country? If yes, how? If no, why not? Make sure your answer includes at least one course concept different from the concepts you used in Sections 1 and 2. Clearly underline the course concept you're using.
• Section 4: If you were in Stan Windham's shoes, what would you do next? Provide two clear action steps.
• Section 5: Conclusion (i.e., a brief summary/wrap-up of the report).
Formatting Guidelines: Your Report should be typed using a common 12-point Word font (e.g., Times New Roman, Garamond), double-spaced, with 1-inch margins, and should not exceed 6 pages, excluding the cover sheet, any references, etc. Any text on a seventh page will not be graded. Include page numbers at the bottom of each page (excluding the cover sheet). Clearly separate and label each section.
