I. Environmental justice: The movement, its claims, successes/ failures, and specific issues (e.g. in reading, in film "Return of the River")
II. Endangered Species Act and the politics surrounding it, including policy implementation and evaluation
III. Climate mitigation politics: What are the political challenges and opportunities? Can think in terms of issues/ ideas, actors, and institutions. Includes public opinion, party politics/ polarization, media coverage, lawsuits, EPA, etc. Should be familiar with IRA (Be sure to watch the "What's at Stake" video if you have not already!
IV. Climate adaptation: What is it? What are the political challenges in addressing it? Can think generally and around specific issues, e.g. case study of Miami Beach, flooding policy and politics, managed retreat.
