How and Why do people give? Private donations are often used to pay for essential social services. Should private donations be responsible for distributing goods/services? Why or why not? What are the "perils" of billionaire philanthropy? Is this an unfair, or too extreme, critique on philanthropists? Shouldn't we celebrate charitable giving? What do you think of Vu Le's ideas on how to reframe the way we understand the role and function of nonprofits? Are Le's criticisms fair?
