What are the objectives of the trade unions?
The Objectives of trade unions are illustrated below:
a. To take labour out of the competitive procedure; because when a number of workers freely struggle for a job, the employer will absolutely give them less wages.
b. To negotiate at all levels along with employers over wages and circumstances of work.
c. To prevent the workers in their inalienable right to higher and improved life.
d. To make workers to take part within union activities and to follow union decisions and rules.
e. To prevent and promote the interests of the workers.
f. To give legal assistance to workers (that is union members) into connection along with work affairs.
g. To progress economic status of workers.
h. To defend the jobs of the workers against lay off and retrenchment.
