Case Assignment
Use the Schmoker reading to write a 3 to 5 page paper that responds to the prompt below:
• What are the "keys" to school improvement?
• Explain any experience you have with these "keys"
• Do you agree or disagree with these keys?
Be sure to use other background readings to support your opinions.

Critical thinking/Application to Professional Practice - Demonstrates mastery conceptualizing the problem, and viewpoints and assumptions of experts are analyzed, synthesized, and evaluated thoroughly. Conclusions are logically presented and applied to professional practice in an exceptional manner.

Using Appendix D from the Mooney reading as a model (or an existing template from your school/district), create a school improvement plan that is 3 to 5 pages in length. Be sure your plan considers:
• Identifying the problem (grounded in existing data)
• Goals/objectives
• Data that will be collected
• Strategies
• Action steps (with persons responsible)
