Part 1: Giving Feedback
Imagine you are a manager giving feedback to two employees. After reading the background on each of them below, describe specifically what you would say to each of them using the techniques described in your book and the online lecture.
a. The first employee, Kate, is one of your fastest and most capable accountants; however, she does not get along well with her coworkers, and you've recently received some customer service complaints about her.
b. The other, Ryan, is new and struggling to keep up with his assignments. He has been working late every night, but his performance is still well below where it should be.

a. What are the key differences in the type of feedback you provided to Kate and Ryan?
b. What reaction might you expect from Kate and Ryan each when giving feedback to them. How you would deal with each of those reactions effectively?
