1. Select three social problems. These issues should be something you strongly believe in. They can be anything.
2. Provide a quick history of each social problem and their current state.
3. What are the impacts of each problem (social, economic, ethical, legal, human, environmental, etc.)
4. Describe the benefits of solving each social problem.
5. Identify the following for each problem:
1. Government - How is local, state, federal and/or global entities addressing these issues (foreign governments count as well) - if any?
2. Business - In what ways are specific businesses are influencing these social problems (positive or negative)? Name the business and provide evidence.
3. Society - What influence is society providing on these problems? (Awareness, fund raising, action, influence, etc.)
6. What non-profits exist to combat these problems? Do these non-profits have any major corporate sponsors?
7. Political - With the Presidential elections coming up in November 2016, what stances are Presidential candidates taking on these issues? (Try to find the stance of one (1) Republican and one (1) Democrat). Note: They may not have a stance on every issue - do your best to find someone who does.
8. In your opinion, is the progress on each of these social problems acceptable? Can and should more be done?
