Problem
Genes A and B are located so close together on a chromosome that they are completely linked (ie. no crossovers ever occur that separate the alleles located on the same chromosome). If an organism is heterozygous for both genes, AND you know that the dominant alleles are carried together on one chromosome (AB), and the recessive alleles on the other (ab), if you cross this organism with an organism that is homozygous recessive for both genes (aabb), what are the expected offspring phenotypes and ratios?
