• Select three companies with websites marketing a product, idea or service. The sites must include links to Facebook, Twitter and Youtube.
• One company should exhibit exemplary use of social media marketing, one company should exhibit mediocre use that could be improved, and one should exhibit poor use (little hope).
Include the following information on each company's market efforts using social media:
• Description of audiences (top three primary demographics) being targeted by each company's use of social media - include specific examples of users from Facebook, Twitter and Youtube.
• Describe how each company is using the three social media for marketing/branding purposes. Provide at least three specific, detailed examples of marketing promotions presented through each social medium (Facebook, Twitter and Youtube) for each of your three companies.
• Describe in detail what you believe to be the benefits of marketing through social media. Give specific examples.
• What are the downsides to using social media. Give specific examples.
• What do you think the future will be for social media as a marketing tool?
