what are synthetic auxins and what are their

What are synthetic auxins and what are their uses?

Synthetic auxins, like indolebutyric acid (IBA) and naphthalenic acid (NAA) are substances same to IAA (a natural auxin) but artificially made. Some are used to accelerate methods of asexual reproduction (as grafting or budding) and others are even used as herbicides as they selectively kill some plants (mainly dicots).
