Our client is an established and thriving international manufacturing company that is in need of an experienced hands-on Manufacturing Manager or Production Manager with aspirations to promote to a Plant Manager, Assistant Plant Manager or similar higher level Management position within the company. Job Requirements
We are very interested in talking to candidates with the following qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Management, Business, or similar degree
6+ years experience in a manufacturing plant environment, union experience is a plus
2+ years as a Production Manager / Manufacturing Manager role with multiple salaried direct reports
Must enjoy an interactive, involved management style that requires appropriate time on the production floor to lead and motivate a dedicated staff
Strong positive leadership skills coupled with problem solving ability
Desire to promote upward as opportunities materialize, including other manufacturing facilities in the US
Experience maintaining a safe work environment while producing high quality products within financial budget guidelines
Strong experience with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
