Many species go extinct prior to people discovering them; others are put in danger of extinction by people's actions. Scientists and other groups have attempted to reconstitute certain species that were endangered, and to have them reach safe levels. In few instances, they are successful; in most, they are not.
What are some potential drawbacks from helping a species?
