What are some of the challenges in conducting classroom and organization level research in order to identify problems and find solutions to address those problems? What are some of the barriers that exist with regard to using test scores and other data to inform decision-making? What suggestions would you make for overcoming some of these challenges? Also, do you believe it is better for individual or groups of teachers to perform their own research or should schools hire outside research consultants to conduct research in an effort to inform practice?
