What differences did you notice between the rural vs urban areas during periods of heavy rain? How might those differences play a role in the recharge of groundwater aquifers? How might those differences play a role in the contamination of local waterways and groundwater aquifers? Think about things like surface and groundwater interactions, percolation, runoff, erosion, etc.
