As you are reading Blood Diamonds, pay close attention to your chosen actor. Once you have finished your reading, write up a single page with a short assessment of the impact of your actor. Think about its status compared to other actors. (MNC vs IGO vs NGO for example). What are its strengths, limitations, etc? How does this actor impact the story of conflict? In addition to the short assessment (250 words), provide three quotes from the text including page numbers. These thematic (more correctly actor) reviews will be shared with the entire class before we move into our discussion of the book.
