The discussion assignment for this week includes a review of the Key Assignment Draft of the Network Architecture Security Plan Proposal completed by one of your classmates, as well as a substantial response to at least 1 other student.
Primary Task Response: Within the Discussion Board area, write 400-600 words that respond to the following questions with your thoughts, ideas, and comments. This will be the foundation for future discussions by your classmates. Be substantive and clear, and use examples to reinforce your ideas.
Part 1
Your first task is to post your own Key Assignment Draft of the Network Architecture Security Plan Proposal to the discussion area so that other students are able to review your plan. Attach your document to the main discussion post, and include any notes that you feel are appropriate. The purpose of this assignment is to help improve the quality of the Key Assignment you will complete next week.
Part 2
Antiforensic techniques make proper forensic investigations more difficult. Antiforensic techniques are deliberate and can reduce the quantity and quality of digital evidence. Antiforensic techniques can also be used to increase security. Use the library to research antiforensic techniques, and discuss the following:
• What are at least 3 examples of antiforensic techniques, and how are they used?
• Discuss how antiforensic techniques affect computer forensics, file recovery, and security.
Use and list at least 2 sources to support your response to the question. You may use the textbook as a resource. Be sure to use APA formatting for all references.
Respond to Another Student: Review at least 1 other student's Network Architecture Security Plan Proposal and provide meaningful feedback. Refrain from general feedback, such as simply stating "good job." Your feedback to other students is most helpful if you not only point out weak areas but also offer suggestions for improvement. The best feedback takes a 3-stage approach to identify what was done well, weaknesses, and areas for improvement.
Respond to at least 1 of your fellow classmates with at least a 100-word reply about their Primary Task Response Part 2 regarding items you found to be compelling and enlightening. To help you with your discussion, please consider the following questions:
• What did you learn from your classmate's posting?
• What additional questions do you have after reading the posting?
• What clarification do you need regarding the posting?
• What differences or similarities do you see between your posting and other classmates' postings?
Format your assignment according to the following formatting requirements:
1. The answer should be typed, double spaced, using Times New Roman font (size 12), with one-inch margins on all sides.
2. The response also include a cover page containing the title of the assignment, the student's name, the course title, and the date. The cover page is not included in the required page length.
