Assignment Task: Sitting Meditation with a Focus on the Body as a Whole
Instructions
You will engage in sitting meditation with a focus on the whole body at least three times (14 mins) this week. As you fill it out and look back over the previous week's practice, think about how your practice has been evolving. Do you notice any patterns about what works best for you? What changes can you make to make it more effective and sustain the discipline (Stahl & Goldstein, 2010)?
The main assignment, which is graded, is to write about your experience and post it to the discussion board.
Remember to find a quiet place with minimal distractions.
