Discussion Post: Time, Talent, and Treasure: Strategies to Identify Stakeholders
As a public health educator, a large part of your job is finding people with resources who support your inspired vision to influence health. When selecting strategies, you must first identify stakeholders. These are people in diverse roles with various viewpoints who can ensure a comprehensive representation of people from institutions and systems who believe change can, must, and will happen. What questions do you need to answer to develop a strategy to form a coalition of health influencers? For this discussion, explain three strategies to identify stakeholders and forge partnerships with those who can influence the public health outcome for your selected health issue.
