Question: This activity would be for students in an advanced proficiency level because the goals are to read quickly and without errors. I would use this in the Practice stage of a SIOP lesson plan. By working at a slower beat (rhythm) I can present the activity and they can slowly start. Then, as I increase the rhythmic speed (and even the difficulty of the text) students can practice building their fluency and speed. We can even discuss words they did not understand afterwards to build comprehension. reword
