In this assignment, you will recommend to the president of the imaginary "Threatened or Endangered List" committee to include a species of your choice on the threatened or endangered species list. Your request to the president will be based on a word report containing your species analysis. This assignment has three parts: Writing the draft, peer review, and the final draft. Note: When doing this assignment, remember that this is an imaginary scenario. Apply the course information you learned from previous weeks when addressing steps 1-7 in Part 1 of the assignment). do the following: Part 2 add a thesis development and purpose.
A. Select an animal or plant that should be on the threatened or endangered species list. You may choose a species that is not threatened if you feel it has the potential to be so.
B. Persuade the president about the importance of preserving the species by demonstrating the impact the species has on other organisms and humans. Could you explain the techniques you used to obtain this information?
C. Explain the impact on other organisms if your species receive protective status.
D. Explain the impact on other organisms if your species does not receive protective status.
E. What actions do you propose to protect the species?
F. Could you tell me how stakeholders will be affected, positively or negatively, by your proposed actions?
G. Explain how you will monitor the process and quantify the progress of your species.
