Problem
This scenario reminds me of the fact that over time, our clients can develop healthy/professional care and concern for us, just like they would for a teacher or another provider that they have frequent contact with. That said how much is too much to share with our clients? When we cancel, should we tell them we are sick, we had a death in the family, or we were in a car accident? What about when we (or our significant other) have a baby or when we get engaged or married? I think it's natural for some of our patients to express happiness or concern for us and I'm wondering how you all might handle these sorts of situations.
