What about using appraisals for training indicators? That training might be remedial, or it could be for expanding the position, or moving the employee to a higher level.
If the performance evaluation points to deficits that I certainly think the sooner these evaluations are done, and the more frequent, the better for both the employee and the employer. If you were bringing on a new hire how often might you do a performance appraisal?
The response should include a reference list.  Double-space, using Times   New Roman 12 pnt font, one-inch margins, and APA style of writing and   citations.
