Discuss the four types of conceptual blocks, Compression, Constancy, Commitment and Complacency and the ways they might inhibit creative analysis and thinking. Then, discuss how they apply to different experiences you witnessed in the film segment of Gandhi. Was Gandhi able to break through many conceptual blocks - or was he constrained by conventional ways of thinking? How would you apply these concepts to General Smuts?
