In the communicating with people of different cultures video, I definitely related to what the woman was saying is that you really have to listen to what the person of another language is saying and approach it with empathy. I hate to admit but I have to, I have a hard time talking to people with whose language I don't understand because it can be very difficult to understand them and at times I grow impatient, I am learning a lot about empathy and its importance in this class. Next time I talk to someone of a language I don't understand I am going to listen carefully, pay attention and approach the situation with empathy and remember they are trying their hardest to adapt to their new culture
