We must ask ourselves: How far are we willing to alter the characteristics inherent to the act of murder, and the consequences, if any, that are attached to that action? A façade has been brought forth with the connotation that killing is an act of kindness, making that act of killing much less reprehensible. In this context we fail to rebuke that act of killing and create an atmosphere of social decline. This decline in turn weakens the reluctance to take life. Now it must be addressed that this is a slippery slope. My objections to euthanasia are not built over the underlying grounds that life in itself is intrinsically valuable, but from a logical perspective, to educate you on why you should reject the principles of euthanasia.
