Void Contracts - Law of Contract
Whereas the Infant's Relief Act 1874 of the UK applies to the US as a statute of general application such was in force in the UK on date 12 August, 1897 then the next giving contracts that it renders "absolutely void" in the UK would also be void whether entered into through an infant in the US:
- First is 'Contracts' for repayment to money lent or for be lent; and
- Second is 'Contracts' for goods supplied or for be supplied as for other than contracts to necessaries,
- Third is All "accounts stated" with infants.
