Museum Paper
Visit an art museum from the list below and write a three-page, 750 word paper comparing and contrasting two art objects you saw in the museum.
Your paper MUST be arranged the following way and include ALL these elements:
• Introduction (A generol assessment of the museum, include your overall opinion of the experience)
• Describe Object #1 and include a photo you took of it. Describe it in your own words, as if you were telling a friend about it: include details.
If the object is a painting or sculpture, include the artist's name, size (can be approximate if it is not listed on the title card), date it was made, medium (example: oil on canvas), etc.; if the object is tribal or historic. please include information about its origins, etc.
• Describe Object #2 and include a photo of it. Same requirements at Object #1.
• Similarities and differences between the two items.
• YOUR opinion about the objects.
• Summary
You must visit one of the art museums on this list:
The Bowers Museum (Santa Ana)/ Orange County Museum of Art (OCMA) / Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) / The Getty Museum / Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles (MOCA) / The Hammer Museum/UCLA / The Broad / Palm Springs Art Museum / The San Diego Museum of Art / The De Young Museum (Son Francisco).
If you wish to visit an art museum that is not on the above list. obtain my approval first. If you visit a different museum without my approval, your museum paper will not be accepted.
You must include a photo of yourself IN the art museum as well as a copy of the admission ticket.

Specific paper requirements: You do not earn extra points for following these directions, but you will LOSE points if you do not:
- Paper: (V margins) (12pt "Times font") (no more than 1.5 spacing), 750 words minimum, three pages
- Turn in the Museum Paper using Canvas
- Title your Word file with your name: for example, JSmith_museum.docx
- Also make sure your name is IN the paper, on the first page
