Violation of the misclassification of workers


Question:

Employer AWOL has been found to be in violation of the misclassification of workers throughout the 2022 year. In October of 2022 the LWDA determined that he is engaging in a pattern or practice of continued violations with over 15 violations since the beginning of the year. Between October and the middle of December he was found to be in violation of the misclassification statute seven more times.
