Technology and the Internet are forcing educators to change they way we look at teaching and learning. The Internet is no longer just an expansive “information highway”, it is a way of life for many people and a requirement in many jobs. “Web 2.0” refers to this “new” way of understanding the Internet. Described by Roblyer and Doering (2010) as “…an Internet trend that puts the design and authorship of online content into the hands of website’s users. Examples “…include blogs, wikis, and social-networking sites where users add, modify, and share content” (p. 174).
