Assignment task: Utilize a form of online Artificial Intelligence (AI) like ChatGPT and ask what it means to demonstrate academic integrity at the post-secondary level (using any words you wish to conduct the search). I will discuss the results with each of you one-on-one in class for a mark out of 5%. This is going to be very informal, though there are a number of things you could consider in order to prepare:
- On your initial search, did you find what it had to say to be relevant and/or useful?
- Did it sound awkward/robotic, or did it sound like a human could've written the response(s)?
- How many searches did you conduct? Did the result(s) surprise you at all?
- In what ways can you use AI at the post-secondary level while still maintaining academic integrity?
- Anything else you want to add to the conversation
