Using needs assessment helps to gather and identifying the desired data when implementing a new program plan/assessment. It helps to focus in on your target population, another useful tool is the Precede-Proceed model which when starting a program it provides a good foundation and will help determine how to continue to monitor and improve the problem. When it comes to quality of life I have noticed that like you and I a lot of the class have focused on the elderly population in their communities as a point of need. Do you think the government needs to try and implement a new program plan/assessment that will help combat this issue overall or do you think it would be better if each individual community focusing on the issue would be better?
