• Demonstrate an understanding of the problems associated with the effects of the environment on public health.
• Identify the importance of occupational safety and industrial hygiene in the workplace.
• Explain the most important challenges faced in environmental and public health.
Instructions:
Go to the EPA NPL list, Superfund: National Priorities List (NPL) and choose your state. (my state is North Dakota) Just choose one site and write on it.
Choose a site , write a 7-10 page paper (not including title page and references) that gives the background of your hazardous waste site, what agencies were involved, what pollutants have been found there, the extent of contamination, the number of people harmed and with what diseases, what studies were done on the site and people, and what the clean-up consisted of.
