Now that we have a greater understanding of qualitative research design, lets take a look at volunteerism. How would you go about designing a qualitative research project to find out why people are or are not volunteering and or what volunteering is about today versus historically. Be as specific as you can with the use of case studies, phenomenological, ethnographical and grounded theory practices. Discuss which of these techniques you would use in your design and why. What type of questions would you build into your review or observations etc… It may be that you are using several of them as it is difficult to just use only one.
