Understanding of leadership skills when caring for patients

Problem:

All of us are a Leader in some capacity, do you know what type of leadership style you most often implement/identify with? Does it correspond to the above picture on generational leadership styles? Further discuss. (*Great opportunities to bring in the readings to support your written words.) Additionally, so much of figuring out what type of Leader you are involves self-reflection. To be able to self-reflect allows for us to have an understanding of how our own actions, words, etc. influence those around us. Think of a time over the last two (2) years where you had the opportunity in clinical to be a Leader, but didn't rise to the occasion. Further detail the events. Upon self-reflection with a leadership view, what should of/could of/ought to have done in that situation differently to have supported being a Leader? Discuss how important it is for the registered nurse to have an understanding of leadership skills when caring for patients?
