Assignment task:
I now have a better understanding of an IPO (initial public offering). After listening to the lecture and reading, I now know that an IPO takes teams of people to calculate a starting price for a stock and is usually offered privately to certain investors, and when the CEO does the grand opening to the public, there are already a lot of shares sold to the investors that were notified before. I also learned the difference between the primary and secondary markets, the primary is where new shares are administered and the secondary is when existing shares are traded. Reply
