Problem
When NAFTA was debated in the U.S. Congress, It was said that Bill Johnson owns the largest caterpillar distribution ship in the west. There is currently a 20% tariff on his products sold in Mexico. Caterpillar has a 50% share of the Mexican market. The other half is dominated by the Komatsu Company of Japan. Imagine what will happen when the 20% comes out of our tractors and it remains from ones from Japan. Under what circumstances will these effects of NAFTA be beneficial and when it will be harmful to U.S. Mexico and Japan.
