A venturi meter is an instrument used to measure flow speed in a pipe. It consists of a horizontal tube of an input radius Rin=20 cm that narrows into a radius Rout= 12 cm. Two small, open, and vertical gauging tubes implanted in the top of the large and small sections of the venturi meter allow us to measure the flow speed at the input section of radius Rin, by measuring the difference in height h of the rising liquid levels in the two tubes. Calculate the speed, Vin (in m/s), at the input section if the measured height of the liquid is h= 20 cm.
