Total magnification observed through both lenses

Visitors at the science museum are invited to sit in a chair to the right of a full-length diverging lens of f1 = -3.40 m and view a friend sitting in the second chair, 2.20 m to the left of the lens. The visitor then presses a button and a converging lens of f2 = +3.90 m increases from the floor to a position 1.50 m to the right of the diverging lens, permitting the visitor to view the friend via both lenses at once. Determine (i) the magnification of the friend if observed via the diverging lens only and (ii) the total magnification of the friend if observed through both lenses. Be sure to comprise the algebraic sign (+ or -) with your answers.
