To what extent does Language work alone in the gaining of knowledge in the Natural Sciences and Math?
I am writing an IB TOK question, which is like intro to philosophy, I was wondering if you could help with giving supporting evidence
gaining knowledge is a network of ways of knowing (reason, emotion, logic, etc) but I want to argue that Language is the most important in the process of gaining knowledge.
Then I will focus on the use of Language in the Natural Sciences in Math?
Im not sure what evidence I can use to show the importance and role of language in science and math? Also, can they work alone? or does Language have to work with a variety of other ways of knowing?
