The Nationwide Drilling and Services Firm is a huge oil and Gas firm in Oman it has contract alongside PDO and OXY and because of pressure of work operatives are feeling stress and uncomfortable. The working stress that is NDSC workers confronting will escort to low presentation for individual and it will cut the job productivity. The researcher will assess the essentials things that lead for work stress at NDSC and the pressure that operatives became it from jobs. 1.1 Personal Assessment
A researcher must need certain skills in order to carry out the research. The researcher is a self starter that involves the researcher encouraging herself to start the research. The researcher has time management skill which is needed in the research to manage the time efficiently in performing the research and organizing the tasks to meet the deadline. Since the research requires a lot of information to be gathered, the researcher need to useher good communications skills to communicate with the different employees in the organization. The researcher has analytical skill to analyze the data and information gathered thereby turning the information into meanings. Furthermore, the researcher will need to have networking skills. Social networking involves the researcher to communicate with people other than the employees in the organization for example, family and friends. This will help the researcher to exchange and gather a variety of information.

1.3 Issue to be investigated
Every organization will offer its employees a variety of motivation factors to reduce the turnover rate in the organization as well as to ensure their employees achieve higher levels of performance. However, many organizations face difficulties in understanding the idea of the having the correct rewarding program in order to motivate their employees. This is due to the lack of understanding of the preferences and needs of their employees. The issue to be investigated in this project is whether the motivation factors offered by Grand Hyatt hotel to its employees are effective enough to lead to their motivation.

1) To study the effectiveness of motivational factors adopted by Grand Hyatt.

1) To identify the motivational factors offered at Grand Hyatt.

1.5 Reason forthe Choice of Issue
The choice of issue is in line with the requirements of the unit. The choice is a part of Managing People and Organization (MPO) in the HND Program. The employees are seen very valuable to every service organization, as the organization's growth and survival depends on its employees. Without employees, the organization cannot serve its customers. Thereby, many organizations are focusing first on meeting its employee's needs in order to achieve their own aims and objectives by placing a variety of motivation factors to ensure that their employees are motivated. With unmotivated employees, the job performance will be poor which will lead to the organization losing many of its customers.

1.6Choice of Business
Grand Hyatt hotel is an American based company that is well known for its big brand and excellent reputation in Sultanate of Oman. Grand Hyatt is differentiated from any hotel in Sultanate of Oman for its traditional Omani hospitality as well as for its heavenly location on the blue beach that is filled with palm trees. Furthermore, it is preferred by the majority of the people visiting Muscat due to its well reputed service and accommodation that is provided to their customers. This conveys that motivating the employees is important for Grand Hyatt to retain its customers.

1.7 Primary and Secondary Sources of Information
Primary sources
The primary sources that will be used for this research are questionnaires and interview. The questionnaire will be given to the employees of Grand Hyatt. The questionnaire will be easy to conduct and it is a quick way to collect information in which it saves time for the employees filling the questionnaire as well as for the researcher. In addition, it will allow the researcher to analyze the data easily. To gather additional information that will include more details, as a researcher, the researcher will interview the human resources manager.
Secondary sources
In order to support the research, the researcher will be using the websites, books and articlesas secondary sources that allow the researcher to gather a wider range of information regarding the motivationalfactors.

1.8 Research Methodology
i. Sampling Method
Grand Hyatt hotel has a total of 327 employees. The questionnaire will be given to 130 employees which is 40% of the total number of employees. The 130 employees will be selected randomly, so random sampling will be used.

ii. Type of Data to be collected
The type of data that is needed for this research is to find the different factors of motivations that exist at the hotel, and to determine whetherthese motivation factors are effective enough to motivate the employees.

iii. Methods of Data Collection
There is a variety of methods that are needed in order for the researcher to collect data for this research. The methods include an interview and survey questionnaire as a primary data. In addition, websites and books are additional methods that are considered to secondary data which will provide support to the research.

iv. Designing of Data collecting Tools
The interview will be with the human resources manager which will involve open ended questions. The questionnaire will include close ended questions. The questionnaire will be split into two sections; the first section will include questions related to the details of the employee, and the second section will include questions that are related to the motivation factors.

v. Method of Presentation
The data collected will be organized in tables and then presented in charts. This will allow the researcher to analyze the data easily and come to a conclusion by providing recommendations and suggestions.

vi. Method of analysis
The data collected will be analyzed by finding the total and percentage and then compared. Each question from the questionnaire will be drawn in a table and the percentage will be allocated.

1.10 Identification of the Resources
In order for the researcher to get the information, there are several resources that she will need. The researcher needs money in order to travel to the organization and to take a print out of the 130 questionnaires. This money will either be obtained from her saving or from her relatives. In addition, the researcher will need time in order to distribute the questionnaire to the employees and collect them back, as well as conducting the interview with the human resources manager. The researcher will also need access to the library in order to be able to use the books to collect information.
