Solve the all parts of given problem:
Problem: To cross a river that is 1 km wide, with a current of 6km/h, a novice boat skipper holds the bow of the boat perpendicular to the far river bank, intending to cross to a point directly across the river from the launch point.
Part A: At what point will the boat actually contact the far bank?
Part B: What direction should the boat has been headed to actually reach a point directly across from the launch dock? The boat is capable of 10km/h.
Please show the work for the calculation so I can understand what I'm doing in above problem. Thanks!
