Deity
This week we see that Kant's claim that God's existence can't be proven lead thinkers to go in several directions: A) redefine God - Hegel's pantheism - God is the universe, B) keep the traditional idea of God as the Christian God and claim that God can be 'known' or 'met' through Kierkegaard's leap of faith, or C) dismiss God and religion as a bunch of nonsense - Marx and Nietzsche. Which of these alternatives do you tend to agree with and why? If you say (B), then you must answer this question -- what do you think of Kierkegaard's idea that faith only makes sense if you are uncertain about God, otherwise it's not faith?
