I totally think this would be a great class to take both in high school and college. This type of communicating is needed not only in school or at home, you will take these communication skills into your career and workforce. You need interpersonal communication to convey clearly and honestly what it is you want to speak. Learning the basics at the high school level would help that individual very dramatically once they got to college. I also could see this skill being used in debate and public speaking at the high school level; be able to connect with your audience or management will be a skill that learning interpersonal communication can bring to the table.
