Your main project is to create a thesis, which can be 1-2 paragraphs, and should provide a strong plan for your research in the weeks ahead. It is ok if your thesis changes a little as you move forward, but the more it changes, the harder your job will be. So please think about this carefully, think about the resources you'll use, and the questions you want to answer. Here are the directions from your syllabus:
Thesis Statement:
This section may vary in length and will demonstrate your ability to generate a thesis, which specifically narrows down your chosen topic of interest. Your thesis is your main statement of purpose and will be the driving force in your final paper. You should also include how you intend to research your core topic and issue.
