Assignment 1:
Length: Maximum of 10 A4 pages.
Task: This assessable workshop is designed to get you thinking about how you will approach the case study assignment in this unit.The case study assignment is the assignment no 3. Your task is to prepare an Analysis Plan (using Microsoft Word) that summarises the intended investigation to be undertaken pertaining to the case study.
Assignment 2:
Length: Maximum of 15 pages (including all screenshots, procedures, etc.)
Task: Your task is to develop a tutorial activity that could be used by non-IT students in high school, that would enable them to learn about graphic files in the context of digital forensics. Your activity needs to be creative and engaging, and provide sufficient guidance to ensure that the students understand different graphic file formats, how they are stored on a file system, how they can be recovered or carved, and their potential evidentiary value. You may assume that the students have a USB drive and will follow the procedures that you have developed. As a result you must ensure you include sufficient screenshots and procedures to avoid confusing or deterring the students from completing the activity.
